¡VIVA AMERICA!

Justice For Athletes sponsor The International Archery Associations World Junior Championships held October 12-21, 2006 in Mexico

Justice for Athletes (JFA) is pleased to announce its support of the The International Archery Associations 2006 World Junior Championships. JFA is granting the amount of $26,400 for a World Junior Championships Scholarship Program, Viva America, to be held October 12-21, 2006 in Mexico.

Los Angeles – March 27, 2006. JFA's goal in supporting the young archers is to enable underprivileged youth from developing countries to become role models for other youth, by allowing them to participate in an elite level training facility and having the opportunity to both improve their individual abilities and also promote the ideals of sportsmanship, ethics and fair play in their home countries.

As a result of JFA's sponsorship, each country of the Americas that was, due to financial constraints, not able to participate in either of the last two Junior World Championships in 2002 and 2004 will be eligible to send participants. The eligible countries are: Argentina, Barbados, Bermuda, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela. The International Archery Association (FITA) will select up to 22 juniors participants from these countries to compete in the Program. Only member associations that have a clean record in the last 2 years of doping violations will be taken into consideration.

All the selected archers are entitled to participate in JFA's Culture, Education, Sport and Ethics Program ("CESEP™"). CESEP™ is a program directly operated by JFA devoted to promoting understanding of sports and ethics among the children of the world (www.cultureandsport.com).

The CESEP™ program is designed to permit teachers, counselors and students (ages 6-18) from around the globe to exchange ideas about the culture of sport and compete in healthy and drug free environments and on a level playing field.

To date, a dozen international groups, including the United Nations and the World Anti-Doping Agency, have agreed to participate in the CESEP™ program with the goal of reaching teachers, students, and educational participants from over 100 countries.
